Husband and I ate here last Sunday. The salad bar was full of fresh ingredients and everything tasted amazing. Had the pleasure of speaking with the owner Violet and you can tell she is extremely passionate about her Business. This will definitely become a regular stop for us as we camp out that way, very conveniently located by Rocky Fork Ranch.

Was here yesterday morning for breakfast. I had the French Toast. Was absolutely delicious. Today for lunch. I had the salad bar, which was so AMAZINGLY fresh! I had the macaroni salad and knew right away it was HOMEMADE! I have to say, I ate 3 bowls!! The other person with me had pancakes the first day. A fish sandwich the second day. Both were good also! Thank you for such a great local establishment.

On a whim instead of hiking in the cold we stopped in for lunch. Ownership is lovely. I wish we had gotten there for breakfast instead of lunch, but I made due with the salad bar and a appetizer. Son thought the wings were good for lunch wings. :) He is more a critic than I am. Rooting for this family owned business to succeed!

The Mushroom Swiss Burger is by far the best I’ve ever had, and the portion of fries—very generous. Our waitress was sweet and overall my wife and I were pleased. Oh yeah, the salad bar was nice and cold and fresh. Five stars.

I had a very good breakfast. I ordered the grilled vegetables a la carte and asked the server to have them added to the cheese omelet. Mmmm.. The bacon was perfectly done for me, with just touch of crispness. The home fries were excellent. They were piping hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Nicely seasoned, too. Well done, Vaughn's!

Service and food was enjoyable but not memorable. Waitress did a nice job and was on top of things. Although, the Italian sub had good flavor at the price of $14 dollars it was VERY SMALL. Comparing both meals in quantity the sub seemed more of a snack than a meal. See pic for prices and size. I’ve been to this restaurant twice now, once before new owners. If in the area and the buffet available I might drop in for another try. Otherwise, it’s a nice family owned restaurant. Note: Salad was very large and fresh

One of the specials today was soup and grilled cheese. I had the chicken noodle soup and a grilled cheese sandwich and my friend had the vegetable beef soup with the grilled cheese and we had a brownie with ice cream and whipped cream and chocolate and caramel syrup on it. It was delicious. Everything was very good. The waitress was very nice and very attentive. We enjoyed our visit very much

Love the simple diner feel. We had Trista, and I think everyone should ask for her! She was the sweetest! So kind, interactive, attentive and genuinely sweet. I had potato skins and green beans and both were amazing. My son had hot dog and fries and loved it as well. My husband had chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. He loved his tenders but thought the mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were just OK. The prices are very reasonable.
